it's time to pick fabric for the big couch... coming down to either charcoal linen, dove grey velvet, or flax linen. we have the little green chest in the room, and the lights have lots of green and yellow in them. so this is kind of a nice inspiration that helps to tie all of that together. the question is... is the charcoal too dark?

For painting the small rooms... I like how they painted a border at the top of the wall the same color of the ceiling. It makes the ceiling look vaulted, and higher... and the room more cozy. Potential for some of the small front rooms?

apparently the first chairs i sent you have been discontinued by the maker :( this is the updated version. what do you think? would be fun to have some alternate cushion cases made for the seat pillow...

I like them, particularly the grey cushion. Reminds me of an old, stately lady... maybe some southern grand dame. But maybe that's just because I'm in Atlanta right now.
