Best almond croissant in the east village. great little french spot for when Clinton St Bakery line is too long. Can be noisy when the doors are open, as it's in front of a bus stop.

best fried chicken i've had in nyc. incredibly moist chicken. crunchy, tasty breading....but not too much of it. everything else we tried was just ok. place can get crowded on weekends.
