So easy, and inexpensive too! Alterations: subbed fresh chopped roma tomatoes, cooked for 15 min over low heat, for canned (to keep down the salt) and left out the clams. Also scaled the recipe down a LOT to 3 servings for 2 people. I can't even imagine what size pot you'd need to make this full recipe.
Very rich, decadent pasta! I used regular thick-cut bacon (wtf are lardons anyway? I had to look that up) and added manchego cheese at the end instead of parm. Would be great with a big green salad as a side, to offest the richness of the dish.
