saw the purple, thought of you! Weddingbee.com is another cool site to check out, and in addition they have these classified listings, kind of like a craigslist for brides!
Hey! I like this better without the green! Honestly, the only thing in nature (well, maybe not so in AZ but other places) that is that color green that time of year is granny smith apples, so I think it would be forced. I think focusing on variation of purple with rich chocolates and maybe some taupes and ivories to accent will be beautiful, and more cohesive.
Thanks, Leigh Ellen! I think so, too. This gives me more of a range. I've decided ivory will be the third color, but I like the idea of the taupes, too. Here's the new swatch I put together this morning with three purples, ivory and a browner chocolate. I think I'm finally getting there! :)
Yes, I LOVE the idea of using flowers that are only shades of purple at the reception and accenting them with ivory candles. I think that's the way to go looking at examples like this! The contrast is so beautiful and dramatic.
I really love this combination. I pretty sure I'm going to settle on these three colors. I like them together because I can use so many shades of purple to make the palet ...
